Emmerdale's Pete Barton was left in a bad way on Thursday after being mistaken for his brother Ross by violent drug dealer Connor.Pete was left bloodied and bruised by Connor in scenes that left viewers shell-shocked, after the drugs pimp came looking for Ross to get the money he was owed for a day's business.Ross had originally gone looking for Simon McManus to get his revenge for the horrific acid attack, but instead found prostitute Dawn, who then failed to bring in enough income for boss Connor.Pete (played by Anthony Quinlan) had been enjoying a harmless outing in the village when he was approached by Connor, who was looking for Ross (Michael Parr) to get the money he was owed.The drugs kingpin had returned to his crack den in Wednesday's show to find Dawn passed out from pills, and furiously claimed Ross had cost him a day's money.Sensing danger for his brother Pete admitted he had no idea who Ross was, but this fell on deaf ears as soon Connor pushed him against the door before a violent fight ensued.Ross failed to get revenge from Simon for his brutal acid attack after the culprit was found not guilty in Tuesday's courtroom scenes.Discovering prostitute Dawn had a child the same age as his son Moses, Ross failed to go through with his attack, but mistakenly set the stage for his brother's nasty attack.And it seems the real truth surrounding Ross' acid attack looks set to be revealed very soon, as Thursday's show also saw Moira Barton (Natalie J Robb) discover that Debbie Dingle (Charley Webb) was the real culprit in her own twisted revenge scheme against villainous Joe Tate (Ned Porteous).The feisty favourite was left torn over whether to tell Ross the truth, but in a show of loyalty to her partner and Debbie's father Cain (Jeff Hordley), she eventually chose to stay silent.Stars of the ITV soap have teased that it is only a matter of time before the truth behind Ross' attack finally comes to light, with the fallout set to be nothing short of explosive.Emmerdale continues on Friday 27th April at 7pm on ITV.\r
