Coronation Street spoilers: Josh Tucker to ATTACK Ayla Nazir? Fans are VERY concerned

CORONATION STREET fans have expressed concern over character Ayla Nazir’s safety after tonight’s episode, which saw Josh Tucker become manipulative.

In tonight’s double bill of Coronation Street, Josh (played by Ryan Clayton) was seen to get into a fight with David Platt (Jack P.Shepherd) in the cafe.

After being broken up by the sudden appearance of Shona Ramsey (Julia Goulding) and Alya Nazir (Sair Khan), both Josh and David stormed out of the cafe in different directions.

Viewers then saw a confrontation between Ayla and boyfriend Josh, where the factory worker decided that perhaps they were better off not together.

But the behaviour of Alya raised alarm bells for those watching at home.

“I’m sorry I’ve had enough drama to last me a lifetime, I don’t need this right now,” she began.

Reading between the lines, Josh responded: “You mean you don’t need me.”

“Look it’s all just a bit much. I think we’d be better off as mates,” Alya explained.

Josh then joked about having “their first dance planned” at their wedding and said he was “gutted”.

But viewers were not expecting what came next.

Suddenly, Josh was upon Alya and cupping her face in his hands as he planted a lingering kiss on the side of her lips.

Ayla did not respond, instead she looked extremely confused and even a little bit scared.

Viewers expressed their concern over a potential future storyline between the two, where Ayla could be Josh’s next victim.

Taking to Twitter, one fan said: “God Josh is such a creep. See the way Alya recoiled when he touched her and kiss her #corrie.”

“I thought Josh was going to rape Alya there #Corrie” added another.

Whilst one user commented: “Even Alya can tell Josh is not right. She look scared #corrie.”

“For a minute there I thought Josh was gonna hurt Alya with his weirdness…#Corrie,” a third added.

Tonight, viewers also saw Nicola Rubinstein (Nicola Thorp) rushed to hospital after falling down the stairs when she heard loud banging coming from upstairs.

She gave birth to her and Gary Windass’ (Mikey North) baby boy via c-section in hospital.

And Faye Windass (Ellie Leach) confessed to being Eileen’s (Sue Cleaver) stalker and the cause of the banging that led Nicola to fall.

Josh then planted a kiss on Alya's lips, but she didn't respond.
