Evil villain Pat Phelan is lining up Daniel Osbourne as his next hostage to replace captive Andy Carver in Coronation Street as he is getting closer and closer to the truth. Phelan was unnerved to discover that Daniel was in touch with his former associate Vinny’s mum – and is therefore just a step away from having a conversation with Vinny that would land Phelan right in it. With Andy having contemplated suicide and having also previously suggested that he commits a crime so that Phelan can let him go while having something big on him, Phelan appeared to be thawing towards him and is now considering that he has bigger fish to fry.
Ominously telling Andy that there is now someone who can take his place and spend the rest of their life locked up in the cellar, Phelan confirmed that the plan was on and Andy would soon be free with Daniel there instead.
Daniel is oblivious to how much danger he is in but Phelan has already warned him not to cross him. He now appears to have pushed the crooked builder too far and as Phelan handles a gun in next week’s episodes, it seems like his plot to destroy Daniel will soon be in motion. Coronation Street continues on Monday 9th October at 7:30pm on ITV.
