Emmerdale spoilers: Confused Vanessa Woodfield sets out to prove she’s straight after cruel action from Charity Dingle
Vanessa Woodfield is set to continue her battle with her sexuality in Emmerdale as she sets out to try and prove to everyone that she is straight after Charity Dingle publicly outs their night of passion. But of course, she is being far from honest with herself as she tries to make a go of things with Daz Spencer. After sleeping with Charity, Vanessa remains in denial while Charity is amused and enjoys Vanessa’s vulnerability and confusion. In a desperate bid to prove that she is heterosexual, Vanessa asks Daz on a date in the Woolpack but Charity does all she can to make it awkward and when Charity discloses what happened between them, Vansessa flees, mortified.
Rhona Goskirk later tries to help Vanessa come to terms with her own sexuality but her new feelings and emotions leave Vanessa bewildered and confused. Previously, she had shared a kiss with Rhona but she put this down to having strong feelings for her best mate in the world.
But now that Charity has stirred everything up and Vanessa can’t get her out of her head, she tries to blank it all out and has a surprising proposition for Daz to prove to herself once and for all that she is straight.
Can anyone help Vanessa to confront her own sexuality and accept who she is? One to watch: Monday 16th October at 7pm on ITV.
